### Please see the steps below to request a course for **paskwâwi-mostos mêskanâs** (mêskanâs):


1. Access **Faculty Centre self-service application **one of two ways:

**a) MacEwan’s Homepage**

i) Begin by logging into **myPortal**. Once there, under the ***Faculty ***dropdown menu, select ***My Courses***.

ii) On the **My Courses **page, select* ****Faculty Centre self-service Application ***where you will be taken to the** Faculty Centre**.

**b) paskwâwi-mostos mêskanâs**

i) Open the block drawer by selecting the arrow.

ii) Then select ***Faculty Centre self-service application.***

2. Within the Faculty Centre self-service application, select ***Course Management***. On the course management page, select ***Create Course***.

3. To request a <u>Scheduled Course</u>, select*** Scheduled Course*** and then click ***Next Step***. (If you wish to select a different course type, select one of the other options: ***Unscheduled Course***, ***Template Course***, and ***Sandbox Course***).

4. Select the **Dropdown menu** next to each semester (for this example we are using 2023 Spring/Summer Semester) to find the class you have been assigned, then select** *****Next Step***. 

Please do not select more than one class section at a time if you are creating multiple separate courses in paskwâwi-mostos mêskanâs. Instead, repeat steps 1 through 7 for each course. 5. Next, you have one of two choices:

a. Select ***Existing paskwâwi-mostos mêskanâs*** to** **create an **[Existing paskwâwi-mostos mêskanâs](https://macewan.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ETS/pages/1871053402)**** **course to use content from an already existing course. 

b. Select ***Do not initialize content*** to create an** ****[Empty Course Shell](https://macewan.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ETS/pages/1871053499)**** **to build your own course.
