### When using paskwâwi-mostos mêskanâs, instructors should note that **Pearson MyLab & Mastering** is being replaced with the new **Pearson LTI**. 

### Pearson activities will be the same except for **two **major differences:

**1.** When adding a **Pearson **activity in mêskanâs, instead of selecting the original **Pearson MyLab & Mastering**:

The instructor should select <u>**Pearson LTI**</u>** **instead:

**2. **The instructor will no longer have to add a Pearson **“block”** prior to adding the activity.


> ⚠️ Please become familiar with **Pearson LTI** as **Pearson MyLab & Mastering** will <u>only be available until the end of the 2023 Summer Term</u>. If an instructor wants features like** Grade Passback **to work on their 2023 Spring courses, they will need to use** Pearson LTI** for this feature.


### To learn more about adding a **Pearson LTI **activity, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to your mêskanâs course and turn*** Edit mode*** on (located in the top right corner of the page).

2. Next, in your desired course Week/Section/Topic , please select **Add an activity or resource**.

3. Select ***Pearson LTI*** (not*** Pearson MyLab & Mastering***).

4. Within the activity, click ***Select content ***where you can open your Pearson account and choose the content you wish to use. Then click ***Save and Display***.
