**AUDIENCE:  **<span style="color: #bf2600">**FACULTY**</span>** | **<span style="color: #bf2600">**STAFF**</span>

<span style="color: #000000">Users can adjust the dashboard page by customizing how your courses are displayed.</span>

On the top navigation, select the **My courses** tab.

In the **My courses** > *Course overview* section, open the drop-down menu and select a sorting option.

- <span style="color: #000000">In progress - displays the current term</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Future - is the next upcoming term </span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Past - displays everything from previous terms</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Starred - choose this to filter courses that you have ‘favourited’. Some faculty choose to star them for their current semester and unstar them at the end of the semester.</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Removed from view - this will display any courses that faculty have previously removed from view.</span>

### <span style="color: #bf2600">**How to ‘star’ a course**</span>

<span style="color: #000000">To </span><span style="color: #000000">**star**</span><span style="color: #000000"> a course, locate it in your </span><span style="color: #000000">**My courses**</span><span style="color: #000000"> list. Click the 3-dot menu on the right and select </span><span style="color: #000000">**Star this course**</span><span style="color: #000000">. </span>

A red star will now appear beside the course title on your list.

> ℹ️ **Note**: All of the above filters and settings depend on the **course's start and end dates**. With no end date or wrong start date, all those filters would be useless to apply.
