**Embed**,** Automatic**, and** Open** – the file opens in a readable form directly within mêskanâs

**In the pop-up** – the file is displayed in a new browser window without menus or an address bar. *This method is discouraged as users often block pop-ups in their browser settings.

**New window** - the file is displayed in a new browser window with menus and an address bar.

## Common Module Settings

In the **Common module settings** area, you can set the **Availability** to either *Show on the course page* or choose to* Hide from students*. The setting can be adjusted at any time from the main course page.
