Anyone who is looking to take any for credit course work offered by the degree, diploma and certificate programs and open studies needs to send in an application, including students applying to MacEwan for the first time, students returning from a gap in their enrollment that lasted a consecutive 12 months or longer, and current students changing their program of study. --- ## How Do I Apply? Application for admission to any MacEwan University undergraduate program is online via [www.applyalberta.ca](http://www.Applyalberta.ca). > ℹ️ For guidance on the application process, see this helpful guide: [http://www.macewan.ca/howtoapply](http://www.macewan.ca/howtoapply). --- ## What Are First and Second Choice Programs? Most programs will allow you to select a second-choice program within the same application. The Psychiatric Nursing diploma program and Open Studies cannot be second choice programs. Your second-choice will only be evaluated if you are deemed ineligible or placed on a waitlist for your first-choice program.
