Your second choice will only be evaluated if you are deemed ineligible or placed on a waitlist for your first-choice program. > ℹ️ The Psychiatric Nursing diploma program and Open Studies cannot be second choice programs. --- ## Can I Add a Second Choice Program after I’ve Applied? If you did not select a second choice while applying, you may request Admissions to add a second choice to your application. In order to consider a second-choice program request, the program would have to still be accepting applications for the admit term. Please view [MacEwan.ca/Admissions](http://macewan.ca/Admissions) ***> In This Section > Dates & Deadlines.*** To submit this request, you would need to: 1. Connect with the Admissions unit ([admissions@macewan.ca](mailto:admissions@macewan.ca)). 2. Send the request via email from **your MacEwan University email account** (found in ***myPortal > Quick Links > Gmail***), and you would have to include your 7-digit MacEwan ID number (found in **myPortal > Quick Links > myStudentSystem > Profile**). > ⚠️ Please note that, if you choose to submit a separate application for the same admit term, your first application will be withdrawn. --- > ℹ️ Still have questions?
