Applicants are admitted to first-qualified, first-admitted programs based on the date they qualify for admission. If you are admissible but there are no seats available in your program, you may be offered a place on a waiting list. Applicants are accepted from the waiting list in order, according to the date they became qualified.

As you could still be presented an offer of admission throughout the admissions cycle (up till the start of the term), continue tracking the status of your application throughout the admission process. Track your application online through the university's student information system, myStudentSystem, and check your MacEwan University email (via Gmail) account regularly for updates and requests related to your application from Admissions (access both through[ ](http://myportal.macewan.ca/)[http://myportal.macewan.ca/](http://myportal.macewan.ca/)).

> ℹ️ **Apply as soon as you can when ****[applications open](https://www.macewan.ca/apply-enrol/admissions/dates-deadlines/)****.**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ Once you apply, submit your documents as quickly as possible. Your admissibility date is the date you become qualified (when your documents have been received and/or when you qualify for admission), not the day you apply.
