Applicants will receive different messages regarding their application status throughout the admissions evaluation process. It is important to understand your steps in making sure your application moves through the admissions processes as well as the various notifications that you may receive along the way. ## Tracking your application You should track the status of your application throughout the admission process to ensure you respond to requests from Admissions for additional information or documents. Track your application online through the university's student information system, myStudentSystem, and check your myMacEwan Gmail account regularly for updates and requests related to your application from Admissions (access both through [http://myportal.macewan.ca/](http://myportal.macewan.ca/)). The timeline of when you could be presented an offer of admission depends on a number of factors, such as (1) how quickly you are able to produce your transcripts and other academic documents related to your admission evaluation, (2) how quickly you are able to submit your other admission criteria, (3) when your courses / credits / grades will be published on your official transcript that relates to your admission evaluation, and (4) if you are applying to a competitive program, how strong your overall admitting average or benchmark score is in relation to other applicants applying to that program. --- > ℹ️ Still have questions?
