**AUDIENCE:  **<span style="color: #bf2600">**STUDENTS**</span>** **

Students are responsible to apply for graduation in order to have their records reviewed for graduation eligibility.

Students who are on track to have all program and institutional requirements completed by one of the document deadlines (October 1 or May 1) are eligible to apply for graduation. Students are encouraged to apply during their final year of study, before the deadline published on our [website](https://www.macewan.ca/apply-enrol/graduation-convocation/graduation/steps-to-graduate/).

Most students can apply to graduate through *myStudentSystem*. See the exceptions on our <u>[website](https://www.macewan.ca/apply-enrol/graduation-convocation/graduation/steps-to-graduate/)</u>. 

1. Launch myStudentSystem from [myPortal.MacEwan.ca](http://myportal.macewan.ca/)
2. Go to the **Academics Records **tile
3. Select** Apply for graduation** from the menu
4. Click on the name of your program
5. Select your expected graduation term from the drop down
6. Click **Continue** (twice)
7. Confirm the information is correct and click **Submit Application**
