**AUDIENCE:  **<span style="color: #bf2600">**STUDENTS**</span>

MacEwan offers many different scholarships, awards, and bursaries to new and continuing students. Detailed information on each one and how to apply can be found on our <u>[website](https://www.macewan.ca/apply-enrol/fees-finances/scholarships-awards-bursaries/access-eligibility/)</u>. A short video that walks you through the entire application process can be found in <u>[myPortal](https://myportal.macewan.ca/student/finances/scholarships-awards.html)</u>. 

Main applications open in September and January of each year, and there may be other targeted applications open throughout the year. Open applications will appear under your **Financial Aid** tile on your **myStudentSystem**. You will also receive an email letting you know that the application has opened.

When applying for any scholarships, awards and/or bursaries, make sure to submit the Legal Declaration at the very end of the application.

Signing up for [direct deposit](https://www.macewan.ca/apply-enrol/fees-finances/tuition-fees-payment/refunds/) provides the fastest way possible to receive your funds once awarded!
