**AUDIENCE:  **<span style="color: #bf2600">**STUDENTS**</span>** **

After graduation, or if you stop being a full-time student for other reasons, there is a 6-month grace period during which your loan remains interest-free. If you are not continuing your studies after 6 months, you have to start paying back your loan. If you have Canada and Alberta loans, you’ll make monthly payments to two separate lenders and you’ll need to keep your contact information updated with at least two loan providers.
