**AUDIENCE:  **<span style="color: #bf2600">**STUDENTS**</span>** **

Students can add/change their preferred name using myStudentSystem. Your preferred name will appear in self-service, class rosters, mêskanâs, and the university ID card.

1. Log into[ ](https://myportal.macewan.ca/)<u>[https://myportal.macewan.ca](https://myportal.macewan.ca)</u>
2. In the **Quick Links** menu, select **myStudentSystem**
3. Select the **Profile** tile
4. Click on the “**+**” sign under Names
5. Enter your information and click **Save**
